Vera Higa joined Innovara in July 2018 as Business Partner, Latin America Region, based in Brazil. She has more than 20 years of leadership and marketing experience in global medical devices, as well as sales and professional education, in companies such as Becton Dickinson (BD), Medtronic and Edwards Life Sciences. She has held positions both in Europe (Western, Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa) and Latin America.
During her career, she developed customer engagement programs, educational curricula and tools, as well as clinical specialist team management for physicians and nurses. She managed distribution sales in Latin America and was responsible for mapping sales processes, engaging resources, developing tools and metrics to optimize sales outcomes.
As a marketing leader, she has developed several projects such as department creation, portfolio/product life cycle management, branding repositioning, launches, sales team training curriculum and motivation programs with focus on downstream marketing.
Vera holds a degree in Business Administration from the EAESP-Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV) – São Paulo, and a Marketing post-graduate degree from the CEAG-Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV) – São Paulo, Brazil.
